Recently moved to WV and was searching for Italian cuisine. Found NIKs and decided to give it a try. The food is excellent and true to Italian standards. The staff is extremely attentive and willing to answer questions about the various dishes and the ingredients. Scott was our server and he was very good. Eliza came out to explain one of the dishes and she did not disappoint. This place is all about providing a great experience and great food. I had the Egglplant Parmesan and my partner had the Chicken Mattone. Very sizeable portions and very fast food delivery. We definitely will be back.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant outside of New York. They make the best gravy, it felt like Sunday morning growing up all over again. The service is awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable on what they have as well as there specials. Definitely a must try if you're just passing through or you're from around there.

Firstly, thank you for providing such a fine establishment. Most restaurants these days default to some premade US Food or Sysco garbage, basically a TV dinner, but NIK's takes the time to prepare real food. I've eaten there twice and both times everyone had a great meal. Part of the restaurant is shadier and part of the restaurant is sunnier. My wife wanted the natural light sat near the window and a subsequent customer sat down and pulled the shade closed. This really diminished her enjoyment, and she considered saying something to the rude diner. Your servers are very accommodating and attentive, so it doesn't come natural to them to tell a customer when they are wrong. I know you're in a tough spot here, but people who want shade should be directed to the shady part of the restaurant; they should not be allowed to punish those who like the light. None of this throws shade on you, though. We'll be back. Thank you!

I will share this because we have eaten at NIK many times lunch and dinner? I'll say this. Frank is a great not good. A great Italian food chef. The food is always perfect.
The absolute best chicken parm I have ever tried, my family also loved his broccoli rob. The steak in cheese is wonderful. Anything you order here is fantastic. It's the best you can get unless you're gonna drive to New York. Thank you Frank in family for always making us the best Italian food anywhere around
We will be your customers for life.

Although i reside in town, i had the pleasure of dinning at Nik's with a friend for the very first time this evening. The staff and atmosphere were exceptionally friendly, the food was delightful, and the owner graciously offered complimentary espresso with sambuca. I most certainly plan to return and wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

Food was delicious. Penne pasta was cooked perfectly, the swordfish special was incredible- perfect cook and covered with a great sauce.
The service was excellent from the time we walked in until we left.
I gave it a 4 for atmosphere because it was a bit noisy for my taste but it is a family restaurant

Frank the owner is an incredible chef who goes out of his way to make sure all guests are happy. I’ve been coming here for years and can honestly say there is no better quality Italian restaurant in the region.

The owner of this place is the worst. He cannot stand criticism. The pizza is bland and overpriced. Even he admits pizza is better at Fox (check out his responses), and I think at Mario's as well. Plus, Mario's Italian food is much more authentic. Do not waste your time. This place is not authentic, but charges you as if it were. You can tell the food is frozen. If it is not, then it is just old.

Tried twice. Once we had kids, and they said we do not really have a kids menu, and almost looked like they wanted us to leave. We waited a few years and decided to try again. Just the wife and I. They were not very welcoming. They made us wait a bit before telling us they had no tables, you can sit at the bar. They were very rude. I do not recommend to anyone looking to try it.

I have enjoyed dining at NIK since they opened. The food is absolutely fabulous and the owner is even better. I brought a group of 16 people for dinner this past week and we were easily accommodated. The food as usual was exceptional. It was the first time dining at NIK for a few people in our group and they are excited for a return visit in the near future. Thank you again Frank for another wonderful meal and experience.

We recently had Nik’s restaurant cater a funeral luncheon for 30 people. Food was delicious, hot , and portions right. Nick himself called me and advised the menu that would travel well and taste good. It was perfect many attendees went back for seconds. I would highly recommend visiting the restaurant too.
