Recently moved to WV and was searching for Italian cuisine. Found NIKs and decided to give it a try. The food is excellent and true to Italian standards. The staff is extremely attentive and willing to answer questions about the various dishes and the ingredients. Scott was our server and he was very good. This is by far the best Italian restaurant outside of New York. They make the best gravy, it felt like Sunday morning growing up all over again. The service is awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable on what they have as well as there specials. Definitely a must try if you're just passing through or you're from around there.
Firstly, thank you for providing such a fine establishment. Most restaurants these days default to some premade US Food or Sysco garbage, basically a TV dinner, but NIK's takes the time to prepare real food. I've eaten there twice and both times everyone had a great meal. Part of the restaurant is shadier and part of the restaurant is sunnier.
