The donuts are amazing, super amazing, good, delicious, fresh, and consistently come out on top compared to national chains. They offer a great variety with changing selections, including mostly yeast-raised donuts and a smaller section of cake donuts. Specific favorites include the perfectly filled donuts, topped donuts like the cookies and cream and coconut, and varieties such as the Cinnamon Sugar Donut and what appeared to be a Devils Food combined with Blueberry. The flavor is richer and fresher without waxy nastiness, featuring a soft inside and a light crispness outside, with icing that is not overly sweet.

It is a no-frills, grab-and-go shop with no seating and a small parking lot and lobby. The service is fast and super friendly. They are open until they sell out daily, so arriving early is important, especially on weekends. Most items cost between one and two dollars. While the drip coffee isn’t their strong point, a fridge offers milk, juice, and soda. The location at the end of Blacksburg can be inconvenient, and there is no delivery. Despite these minor complaints, it is a great place worth a special trip for truly excellent donuts.
