Paid almost $80 on a order of a variety of different menu items like chicken lo mein, general tsos, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon were the only thing decent. All other Food was below par and we did not even eat less than half. Bad flavor and over cooked. On top of that it took about an hour to get it delivered. They didn’t bring any plastic ware or napkins. Very disappointed in this place and will not order from here again.

very kind and polite people, me and my boyfriend ate here after we went to the pool. a lovely older woman took care of us and made sure we had fresh cold water. the food pricing is great and tastes delicious, would definitely recommend!

Honestly didn’t plan on ending up here, but there wasn’t much open at 10 PM on a Sunday evening. I know a lot of people come here for late night drunk food, but I decided to give it a try with my family.
First of all, we’re Chinese, so we ordered off of the Chinese menu instead of the English one, which has much more authentic dishes. The food was very good! My only issue was the ambiance- there were a ton of bugs in the restaurant because of the lights just outside the restaurant on the ceiling of the strip mall. The plaza is also quite sus at night.
Service was also great, but I feel being and speaking Chinese helped.

This review is for Chinese kitchen from 20+ years ago when I was an Engineering student at VT. This place saved my life by offering the most delicious Hot Sour soup and Shrimp lomien with char shu pork fried rice for $4.35 including tax. Best shrimp broccoli ever. Now I live in an Asian community in SoCal but I never found a Chinese takeout as good as this place. Lots of good memories!

I graduated in 2011 and came back to visit. I was worried things had changed, but it's still the same Chinese Kitchen. It's every bit as good as I remembered. Their steamed dumplings are so good that they've ruined all other dumplings for me. I've never found a comparable one and I believe it's because they're made in house.
Chinese Kitchen was winning Best in Blacksburg for Chinese food during my undergrad. They deserve so much better than their current rating.

Normally take-out orders from Chinese Kitchen are decent for the available local options; however, the white meat chicken in the dish I ordered last night (and for which I paid extra) was very odd. It was slimy, stringy, and fatty. It even seemed to have some breading around the pieces of chicken. I couldn't eat it. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.
Ordered what should of been delivering they claim it was pickup non the less I received no messages to confirmed the received the order or that it was done and just waiting I expressed concerns it would be cold they told me it wasn't that was a lie and the food is a soggy cold mess they have messed up delivery several times I ate here for nine years I will not again

Food was good! I assume that most of the negative reviews were from a past issue.
The main issue I had was that the delivery person did not follow the instructions I listed. I requested that they text when they had delivered my order, and they did not. Because of this, I did not see when I got my food and it was cold.
