The food here was pretty good. It’s a little small and cramped how it’s set up. Kinda feels like you are on top of others getting out of your chair if you are in the tables area. Your back is pretty close to the booths. Had to put my jacket on after leaving my table because I didn’t want to hit the person in the booth.For vegans: I shared the vegetarian burrito with my husband. Just asked for no cheese/queso. It was already on the vegetarian section of the menu so I assumed the rice was vegan since if it’s on the vegetarian menu it shouldn’t be made with chicken broth. But you can always confirm prior to eating. The burrito was huge and I’m glad we shared. Salsa and Guac is very delicious.
Way too expensive. $18 for 4 drinks and cheese dip.

This is the best restaurant in Blacksburg. The service is fast and friendly, the food is perfect everytime, the music is great, the deals are fantastic. Timo was our server and was amazing! With a lovely atmosphere, El Rods is perfect for dates and group hangouts! I will come here every week the rest of my time in Blacksburg. (I always order the Burria Tacos, perfect portion size along with the complimentary chips)
