We ordered the special, Birria tacos, and they were delicious! I was a bit concerned about how spicy/hot they might be, and the waiter immediately offered to bring me a sample of the broth in which the meat is simmered, and it was not an issue at all. Also, when we ordered the wine, he offered to bring us a sample of that, as well. Our side was Brussel sprouts and they were cooked to a crispy perfection. We decided to have them plain, without the sauce, and they were very good. Definitely a 5 star dining experience.

Raymond was our server in the wine bar. Our group would rate Raymond the best server, with great humor, excellent table side manners, and the most knowledgeable regarding wines & Port of any restaurant we've done in. Ray is definitely the most valuable team player 622 N. has on their staff. He's the reason we keep coming back. The chef also does an outstanding job on having great meals, as well as offering specials.

Zach was awesome. He gave details of specials and his favorites as it was our first time here. Service was attentive but not overbearing which we appreciate. Will definitely come back!

Shrimp and grits were excellent. Unique building.

Our waiter, Ray, was very nice; however bar and food service were extremely slow. Our appetizer arrived before we even got drinks. The chips with artichoke dip were stale. We were offered additional chips and a taste of a wine, and said yes, but never got either. The bourbon pour was so slight. On the plus side, the wine pour was nice. We didn't see the waiter for sometimes 15 mins at a time. The food was ok but we just felt disappointed overall, for the reasons mentioned above, especially for a graduation celebration. The restaurant wasn't over-crowded, even though it was graduation. Maybe the staff just wasn't enough.

My daughter and I were in town and found this gem. Ty was our waiter and he was great! I got the filet mignon and my daughter got the beef tips. We really enjoyed our food. We got a charcuterie board to go to munch on at our vacation rental house. I will come here again on my next trip to Blacksburg!

3 of us had brunch here. Our server, Michael, is a VA Tech student majoring in hospitality management. He was very well spoken, kind and knowledgeable about the menu. Our food arrived hot and was delicious. We've been here before for lunch and will return again. Fun experience. Thank you!

Outstanding food and loved eating on the deck at sunset!

2 meals were great, but the tri-tips were very tough. Service was good, not great. Overall it was fine.

Very small pours on the drinks, barely filling half a martini glass. Food was over sauced and salty.

This is such an adorable place with excellent service! Food was ok to be honest nothing amazing but the atmosphere and service was fantastic!

This is a fantastic restaurant with fantastic service! A bit overpriced for what it is, though, and a bit noisy for an upscale place. If everything were perhaps $5-10 cheaper, I'd recommend it to literally anyone in a heartbeat.

For the price charged on their dinner menu was expensive for cold food. Had a very hot plate and everyone that ordered mashed potatoes were cold. They were so cold must have taken out of refrigerator and placed on plate. The food was lukewarm. You have to ask the waitress for a straw? The waitress was good and hated that the food was cold. It was not crowded so don’t think that was the problem. This was a special family dinner, so not worth the money. I would not recommend this place unless you just want a drink and appetizers.

Food is fantastic- especially the potato rounds with the bacon jam. Service was a little disjointed with multiple people bringing items. They brought out apps but no plates & one server dripped beer all over the table as he was pouring into the glass. I will go back because of the great food!

This is the only reliable brunch place in Blacksburg, other than the Inn at Va Tech, (which is way more elaborate than I want). There is plenty of variety in the brunch menu, and I am usually happy with my choice. I have to say the Bloody Marys are always perfect! This is why we keep coming back. Just wish you'd get some nice crisp potato wedges, instead of those awful shriveled cubes you keep serving.
