Some things are a little pricey but quality is high, good portions. Not college food quality- a few cuts above.

Ordered a chicken sandwich and chicken Caesar salad. Chicken was raw in center on both. Ordered a meatloaf sandwich as replacement. It was burnt. Server Zack was amazing - five stars for Zack

Almost 30 minutes gap between server coming to table. Both dishes were bad. Overcooked and salty risotto and over salted chicken. Charcuterie app was good. Spent 120$ and two hours of my time to be disappointed.

622 is vegetarian friendly and my husband and I loved our food. Another in our party ordered a chicken sandwich and said it was overcooked and he wished he had gotten what we got. We had six VT alumni who were reminiscing. If the noise level was too high it was probably us. We will definitely return. The bartender and waiter were both friendly and professional.

As always excellent food and service and interior ambience. Outside however is neglected and weedy with apparently no concern for its appearance

The food was outstanding! Do not be fooled by the entryway though. The restaurant has a bar room, and then you are led through to the restaurant where the ambience is nicer.

My friends and I had a delicious brunch! The service was great as usual. Highly recommend.

We ordered the special, Birria tacos, and they were delicious! I was a bit concerned about how spicy/hot they might be, and the waiter immediately offered to bring me a sample of the broth in which the meat is simmered, and it was not an issue at all. Also, when we ordered the wine, he offered to bring us a sample of that, as well. Our side was Brussel sprouts and they were cooked to a crispy perfection. We decided to have them plain, without the sauce, and they were very good. Definitely a 5 star dining experience.

Raymond was our server in the wine bar. Our group would rate Raymond the best server, with great humor, excellent table side manners, and the most knowledgeable regarding wines & Port of any restaurant we've done in. Ray is definitely the most valuable team player 622 N. has on their staff. He's the reason we keep coming back. The chef also does an outstanding job on having great meals, as well as offering specials.

Zach was awesome. He gave details of specials and his favorites as it was our first time here. Service was attentive but not overbearing which we appreciate. Will definitely come back!

Shrimp and grits were excellent. Unique building.

Our waiter, Ray, was very nice; however bar and food service were extremely slow. Our appetizer arrived before we even got drinks. The chips with artichoke dip were stale. We were offered additional chips and a taste of a wine, and said yes, but never got either. The bourbon pour was so slight. On the plus side, the wine pour was nice. We didn't see the waiter for sometimes 15 mins at a time. The food was ok but we just felt disappointed overall, for the reasons mentioned above, especially for a graduation celebration. The restaurant wasn't over-crowded, even though it was graduation. Maybe the staff just wasn't enough.

My daughter and I were in town and found this gem. Ty was our waiter and he was great! I got the filet mignon and my daughter got the beef tips. We really enjoyed our food. We got a charcuterie board to go to munch on at our vacation rental house. I will come here again on my next trip to Blacksburg!

3 of us had brunch here. Our server, Michael, is a VA Tech student majoring in hospitality management. He was very well spoken, kind and knowledgeable about the menu. Our food arrived hot and was delicious. We've been here before for lunch and will return again. Fun experience. Thank you!
