We wanted icecream and saw Insomnia was open until 1a, we went at 10p and no line, 3 people in store eating off to the side.
Lady working didn’t talk to us at all while we ordered, we could have used help bc we had never been there but it also was simple bc they just have cookies and a few types of icecream.
The person made my daughter’s cookie ice cream and just left it on a shelf opposite of where we were and walked away from us and when we asked if it was my kids she was like yeah.
We laughed bc you could just feel the off energy and body language bc we were being nice? (We were trying to have something sweet after a let down, not feel weird) She bags the cookie and sets near register and then disappears and I’m waiting for my icecream, she saw me still standing and came back to scoop mine.
I get it working sucks, but it’s a cookie/icecream shop that was open for a few more hours.
Scoops on a cookie means, 2 scoops of ice cream sitting on a Cookie on a small styrofoam dessert plate. One scoop fell off right away, weird to put icecream on a small plate and frustrating half rolled off.
No issue if the cookie and ice cream was good…
H got a cookie and I got cookies and cream ice cream, there was no cookie anything, it was more like a minty chocolate chip. My ice cream tasted stale and was not cookies and cream, kept trying to make it taste like cookies and cream but was not. Had a mint after taste and thick oil undertone. Maybe they use the same Scoop for everything but all three of us tried it and threw it out. My husband took one bite of his chocolate chunk cookie and didn’t want the rest.
Should have just got a pint and cookie dough from the faculty Kroger like H wanted… we love when cool one off places work out.
This didn’t hit the mark.

Great staff who keep a very clean store. Order; however, was not up to standards. Contacted supported and was told I would hear from someone but never did.

Ordered cookies to be delivered to my daughter. Insomnia Cookies (Blacksburg, VA location) never contacted recipient to arrange delivery time despite their ordering page said they would. Simply sent texts saying they were on the way and that the cookies were delivered. Recipient was not home, but her roommate was. The roommate said they were not delivered. Called and got a refund. So very disappointed. We never had this problem with Campus Cookies!!

Delicious cookies at all hours. Only place in town to get good vegan cookies (which also make great ice cream sundaes. If it weren't so expensive, would go often.
Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian. Vegan cookies include birthday cake, chocolate chunk and double chocolate chunk, all clearly labeled.
Dietary restrictions: Well labeled vegan and gluten free options.
Parking: Parking in lot above/ behind building (requires going down stairs or around building to access store).
Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult to access from parking with wheelchair - requires stairs or steep sidewalk with no elevator.

Delicious cookies and wonderful service! We got a wrong order delivery due to a Doordash mistake, but they replaced the whole thing and were super nice about it! Cookies were lovely as always, but we really appreciate the way they handled this ?

This cookie was a lot softer than I was expecting - and that was a good thing because it told me it was baked pretty recently. I couldalso tell this as it was still warm. This resulted in the inside (and the mint chips) being still somewhat gooeyThe chocolate flavor was alright, as was the mint. I do wish the chips had some more crunch to them, as there wasn't much of a texturaldifference between that and the cookieI was considering getting the ice cream instead, but the price was pretty high for that - while the cookie price was definitely betterOverall, a solid fresh cookie. 7.5/10

After my first time there, I've been very impressed with the service and the quality of the cookies. I usually get the 4+4 pack, which is 4 classics and 4 deluxe.
Tried this place for the 1st time!! DISAPPOINTED big time! Nothing special cookies with gourmet prices! Plus the staff OVERCHARGED me for caramel sauce on a Brownie, $6 for Caramel drizzle!?!? Seriously!?!? And the girl who rang me up didn't even finish the order, she was in a hurry to clock out and get out of there! $30 for 6 tiny regular cookies and 2 Brownies? RIP OFF!!
Cookies are amazing. They have one GF option, I wish they'd make more.
