I've been coming here multiple times each week now, and the barista surprised me today by remembering my order (large matcha latte, half-and-half, no syrup and an espresso, double-shot). Their espressos are always perfectly dialed in and sweet, I even got a single shot today and I was skeptical because they are notoriously hard to dial in as they require a different basket and a different pressure profile. But it defied my expectations and was really good.

The best coffee and people you’ll find in town!!!!
This ADORABLE coffee shop is located in the basement of a church. It has such a welcoming and loving atmosphere. My barista was knowledgeable about their coffee and also Blacksburg in general.

Lighthouse Coffee is a special, non-profit coffee shop operating on a donation-based system. It is a buzzing, boho-feel hangout with a peaceful, welcoming, and loving atmosphere. The environment is super chill and the community is very kind. The coffee is excellent, considered the best in town and the best in a while. They also make a good matcha latte, pretty quickly. It is located in the basement of a church and is the perfect hole-in-the-wall spot, a nice change of pace, and a favorite place that feels like home. It is 100% recommended.
