It’s a breakfast and bakery stop. It does steady business on the weekends it appears so be ready to share space with some other breakfast lovers. It is a tasty treat though when in Blacksburg for the morning. I had an omelette and the Nutella crepes are a must try.
Order was placed at 12:19. My latte was brought out to me at 12:46. An explanation as to why it took 25 minutes for a latte after being reassured by 3 separate staff that my drink would be out "soon" would be nice. The food i ordered came out far before that. If you're that backed up let your customers know so they can choose to not waste that much time waiting on a coffee for a to go order.
Nice selection of sandwiches and eclectic specials. The ham and cheese baguette is reminiscent of a Parisian style. The chicken and rice dish as well as the soup special were pleasently high flavor and well executed. The coffee was fresh but not too my liking (that is a personal preference and nothing to do with the quality. For me it was a bit too bitter). Anyhow, I highly recommend and will be back again!
