This place is awesome! But it’s closed now! No furniture inside and the main sign along the front face of the store is also gone!

The food was so delicious we ended up buying $50 more to take home for lunches. The tamales didn’t have much meat in them, but the pupusa’s did.

The food is delicious! It is made to order and so it does take a while for you to get your food. Your order is delivered to you at your table but there is no other form of service if you are looking for a sit down experience. We have only eaten the vegetarian options, but they have all been great. This is a must visit place for us every time we go to Tech.

Cheery interior in a re-finished long John silvers. Good papusas, mediocre cortido. no plates so everyone was served on plastic baskets with a sheet of plastic on each, having to eat with plastic utensils. Not very enjoyable

We are visiting for a family wedding and stumbled across Mari II. This restaurant is a great example of why we travel for food. The food was so good, so flavorful, and the service was excellent. We loved it so much we ate here twice on our trip! Highly recommend.

Having grown up around here, this is truly one of the best spots in the NRV and one of my favorites. I've been here a few times at this point, and it is consistently so good. The pupusas and tacos are absolutely amazing, and the tres leches cake is unreal. I suggest eating your food at the place, rather than taking it to go, because it is so much better fresh and with the salsas they give you. Seriously, if you are in Blacksburg, you have to go here if you're wanting Latin American / Mexican food. Not only all this, but you are supporting an awesome local family business going here, rather than many of the other places in Bburg or Cburg. This might sound like an ad at this point, but I really just love this place. I never post or do reviews, but after going again tonight I felt like I had to for this place.

Absolutely loved the experience! Food was amazing. Service was good. Staff were friendly. Enjoyed the overall experience. The pupusas were delicious!

Casual place, delicious pupusas. Will go back.

Vegetarian options: Spinach, bean and cheese, loroco, calabaza pupusas were available. It was refreshing to be able to get a 3 pupusas plate and still not have tried all the vegetarian options.

Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac disease and had no problems with their food. There was a sign asking customers to tell them about food allergies when ordering.

If you’re looking for a delicious cheese pull, this is the place! Second time here, got the jalapeño pupusas and a horchata, such good comfort food. Highly recommend.

We loved this restaurant! This will become a regular go-to. The food is homemade and delicious! We were glad to share each other's order.
The al-pastor tacos were so well flavored. We appreciated the vegetables that accompanied them, with some seasoning on the onions and some heat to the jalapeno and radishes are a super food. It was a great balance to make it a complete meal.
The chicken pupusas were fantastic with the pickled slaw that accompanied it, along with the tomato sauce. The flavors were incredibly well thought out and complimentary.
The inside of the restaurant was tastefully decorated and clean. We really look forward to our next visit. Thanks for such a great experience!
