My recent experience at this location was horrible. It was a sweltering 85 degrees and the air conditioning was broken. It was torturous to be sitting inside. Why wouldn't they shut down the cafe if the AC was broken? The service was great and the drinks I ordered were just fine but I felt so bad for the employees working in this heat. Starbucks should start caring a little more for the customers and treating their employees better.
Usually I never have issues with this Starbucks the people are always very friendly, but today for some reason I ordered what I normally do the caramel ribbon crunch and it was just filled with the cream topping mostly. But usually no matter what time of day I go they are great and have great attitude and usually always correct with my order.
I’m on the road a lot for one of my jobs (the other is local here on campus) And honestly, out of all the Starbucks within the tri-state area, this is one of my absolute favorites (next to the lee hwy in Radford location which is my all time favorite). The kids are amazing in every way; and they’re one of the only ones that ever tend to make my usual perfectly, I almost never have to alter it.Both locations are definitely worth the drive.
