Our grandchild has a serious dairy allergy. We asked questions about various products and settled on a sherbet they said was dairy free. Two small bites and our grandchild was throwing up and having an allergic reaction. We’re now at the Emergency Room. Sugar Magnolia needs to take a hard look at their products, and need all employees to take this issue seriously.

Their ice cream is so tasty! We love their $1.00 unlimited topping deal. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They have several gluten free flavors and they have an allergen listing so you know what is safe for those with allergies. We love to bring our family here for a tasty ice cream treat in a fun location. I just wish there was a location in Christiansburg so that we did not have to pay to park.

Sugar Magnolia is hands down the best ice cream shop ever - it’s super pretty and aesthetic, and the ice cream’s totally worth every penny. But there’s more—besides getting stuff like ice cream and chocolates here, Sugar Magnolia Sugar Magnolia also doubles as a charming gift shop. You get all kinds of awesome stuff like candles, decorative tissues, bracelets, gift bags, adorable soft toys (the BEST part), and stationery. While everything’s super expensive, it’s all a treat to look at while you’re enjoying some ice cream.

This is the most amazing gift shop and ice cream/chocolate/candy store! My friends and I fell in love with the selection of gift cards and could’ve spent forever flipping through them. So happy we stopped in!

College town vibe and nice hang out place, reasonably priced fresh ice cream with seasonal flavors available. Tried peach and butter pecan. Tables have fresh flowers in small vases. Nice place which we will visit again.
