Excellent food and service. I had the filet mignon (medium) with mashed potatoes and garlic green beans. All of the food was great. Perfect portions, mashed potatoes - perfect, and the green beans were cooked just right - right amount of garlic. We had a reservation at 5pm on Thanksgiving, but we were seated at 3:30pm. Service was excellent - very helpful, attentive staff.
While the food was good, the ambience of the restaurant was a bit off. Every tablecloth in the dining room was heavily wrinkled. We were seated at a table that had extra chairs stuffed around it. We felt like we were sitting in a storeroom. Both the server and the hostess were very nice and friendly but seemed a bit untrained. We had to call the server back to order sides. The drinks were well-made and the food was good but a bit overpriced. One of the dishes we ordered...
Previous ratings led us here. Maybe it was the fact that they were very crowded because of homecoming weekend but the experience was not good. Staff was apologizing the whole time but drinks and food took forever to show up and was of OK quality. Not the server's fault, the bar and kitchen was super backed up.
