The owner is a good man, he cooks excellent food. I asked if I could touch his beard, he kindly allowed. It was firm yet forgiving. A genuine crop from the old country, where the winds still blow true. He has a nice pond. We fished as the sun set. Caught over 50 bluegill.

Updated review: I initially gave this place 5 stars when I went the first time. The food is still great (although the prices recently went up, it's still an amazing deal). The reason I lowered my rating is because the place is closed so often, and at odd times. CALL BEFORE YOU GO to make sure it's actually open. Also, call and check to see if he actually has what you want. For some reason, half of the time the owner will run out of steak, meatballs, etc. Although I love the food, it's often very frustrating because it's either closed or I can't order what I really want.

The food was mediocre, nothing special and the SERVICE was HORRIBLE . I was on my lunch break and it took me over 20 minutes to get my food. I was the only patron there. The staff was rude. I asked for a fork and the owner said "you don't eat a gyro with a fork." He then threw 3 forks in my bag. I will never be returning to The Greeks and I most certainly will never be recommending it to anyone.

I come here every chance I get! The food is probably the best I've had in Blacksburg including the Breakfast. The service was also very good. I was surprised how much food you get for how reasonable the prices are.

Horrible! Pizza is over burned. All the pepperoni and sausage got to burnt to eat. Staff is not helping at all. Be aware!

My place of work is on North Main Street as well, and we have a really hard time understanding why they can't have regular hours and staff. Wonderful, wonderful, food. Hands down, the BEST burgers I've ever had. Great food, with a poorly executed business strategy. It needs to be fixed; the town, the location, and the community deserve better than this. At the very least, reliable hours to go on. Saying you open at 11am and not showing up until 1:30pm is simply unprofessional. As well as arguing with fellow staff members infront of customers, which I've seen more than once here. Come on guys, you can do better!
I'm eating the Supreme Steak and Cheese Sub, and supreme doesn't begin to describe it! Lots of onions, peppers and mushrooms, and the piquant banana peppers cut through the richness of the melted cheese perfectly. With the friendly service, I can't imagine going anywhere else for my Greek/sub fix!

Awhile back I had ordered 6 pieces of baklava from them off of GrubHub. Instead of simply calling to let me know that they were out, they delivered 6 other desserts that were so awful, no one took more than a bite: we ended up throwing out the pastry that I never asked for (but certainly did pay for).
