“I’ve spent a lot of time on the border, growing up and living Texas for 45 years. This place is AMAZING. I would put it in the top five Mexican food restaurants I’ve eaten at in my life. The perfect combination of authentic ingredients and menu items. I was very surprised to find this gem in Virginia.”

“I am so mixed. The food is awesome, service is most of the time great. But I’ve never seen a restaurant charge for pickles or onions on a burger. The quesadilla is so awesome. The pork belly burnt ends were amazing, but taken off the menu. Weird fees show up on the final bill for using a card, or if you’re with a larger party, they don’t tell you they automatically include a tip. I love the food and atmosphere, but it’s the small things that customers remember. Please take more. Transparency is key when it comes to a happy customer.”

“We don't get to Danville too often, but when we do, Crema and Vine is a mandatory destination. We discovered this fantastic place several years ago and have been absolutely awed by the outstanding food and the service. Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect of Crema and Vine is that it is a family run business, which we always try to support, and have for years. The owners, Steve and Angela truly care about their customers and we feel like family when we are there. May they continue to operate Crema and Vine for many years as the outstanding place it is.”

“Jalisciense Danville VA Authentic Mexcian Restaurant & Taqueria 691 West St Danville Va. Me and my sister went to eat there today and what we had was amazing Grilled Chicken Hawaiian is what was so delicious and we decided to split the food glad we did it was plenty for both of us. The restaurant clean and people working there was so nice and friendly. I will be going back for sure. It makes a difference when people care what they service. The guacamole was so wonderful best I ever had. Rating this restaurant 10+.”

“AMAZING LITTLE RESTAURANT WITH WONDERFUL FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, AND NICE ATMOSPHERE!!! This is a FIRST visit to this little hidden gem, but definitely WON'T be our last!!! We're from just over the line in North Carolina, but often shop in Danville and this restaurant is a bit of a drive away from ALL of the major shopping areas in the city, but DEFINITELY worth the drive!! I swear the CRISPY HOMEMADE ONION RINGS alone are worth the drive!!😁They greet you from the time you walk in the door, which is really welcoming! Their food is DELICIOUS and VERY reasonably priced!!😋 It's decorated with various metal license plates and signs!! The food service workers are lined up and working with their own little system which makes their service VERY QUICK from order to serving, which is fascinating to watch! They have a nice VARIETY of food which you can see by the menu in my pictures! They even have soft serve ice cream & homemade milkshakes! If you're in or around the Danville, Virginia area and looking for a great eatery, do yourself a favor and try Mama Possums!!!❤️ YOU'RE WELCOME!!!😁”

“I stopped by at 5:45pm, 15 minutes before they closed. I met the Owner, she was the nicest Lady. Very welcoming, asked me where I was from. First time we met but she made me feel welcomed. “We ate here Christmas Day for my sister’s 21st birthday. The service was impeccable, they sat our party of 11 immediately, they even helped me pick out a special drink for her (a large bowl with a live flame filled with a delicious pineapple drink and fruit). Not only was the service amazing, but the food was delicious! We got sushi, low mein, hibachi and seafood. Everything was delicious. This is by far the best sushi/asian food in Danville! “2/1/24 My first visit: I took my family to Captain Cook's to celebrate my father's birthday. It was a party of 13. The place was very clean and spacious! The hosts acknowledged us as soon as we walked in, and our table was available immediately! When we got to our table, I felt the air from the ceiling fan, and before I could say anything, the host already knew and turned off the fan! She was paying attention! Wow! 😊 Our waitress was very pleasant and personable, listened carefully to our requests, and was quickly accommodating. It was like she was reading our minds. And the food???? FRESH, HOT, and DELICIOUS! To end the evening, the price was great for the quality and quantity of food we received! We were comfortable and didn't feel rushed! Thanks to the entire Captain Cook's Staff for a great dining experience to celebrate my father's birthday. I will visit again when I'm in town! 5/5 💥”
