Hannah is the best bartender. She is tentative, fun, focused, and outgoing. They have a great atmosphere right on the water with live music and the food is great! They also have new menu items this year. If you're a local or visiting beautiful lake gaston, go to Shady Shack and visit Hannah - you won't regret it. There are multiple boat docks too but get there early because they fill up quickly.
I called it's Friday Halloween Night to ask for reservations, it's not going to be busy! Boy was she wrong. We did get a table,as they don't take reservations. After 20 pizzas we saw delivered - we finally got ours! The band was awesome!

When I am in the area staying at my house I go there a lot to eat. I really enjoy the food and I am a picky eater. They have just the right menu size and execute everything perfectly. Ever go to a restaurant or diner with a thousand menu items and nothing is good? To be honest, I think I eat too many smash burgers, my favorite.
