“Parallel has become one of our favorite go-to spots for happy hour. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively. We absolutely love the duck fat fries. They are crisp and thick cut. The fried pickles are also very good and if the kids are with us we get the chicken and waffles and kids mac n cheese. It's an amazing gourmet mac n cheese and the fresh fruit side is picture perfect every time.

Montepulciano has become one of our favorite wines. I also enjoy the pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc in the summer. We weren't fans of the chardonnay, but the rest of the wines more than make up for it. Great old fashioned - well balanced.

Service has always been good. All the servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the drink and food menus. We love the atmosphere as well. Very rustic and down to earth.”

“I had the grilled chicken Florentine pizza today for lunch (and dinner). It was THE BEST pizza i have had in a long time. Crispy crust, fresh ingredients and amazing flavors! I don’t typically write reviews but this pizza was so good... I had to. Thanks for the fantastic meal today Marco’s Pizza!”

“Hello everyone! My name is Syed Anwar Hussain, and I'm sharing my experience at the best restaurant in the DC area. Today I went to the Bangladesh Embassy, and after I finished my embassy work, I started searching for a good restaurant in that area. Luckily, GPS found the restaurant. We went with my wife and my son, and we ordered three dishes. First, we ordered two dishes. We tasted the first two dishes; they were very delicious. Then we ordered another one. All three dishes were delicious. I really enjoy the delicious food. I have no words to describe how delicious the food is. I highly recommend this place.”

“I come to this hookah bar pretty often, and the service here is always top-notch. Nina is absolutely amazing. She remembers my order every time, checks in without being overbearing, and just makes the whole experience better. Zaid also helps when Nina is busy and is as friendly as possible. Siddiq, the hookah guy is on top of it always and makes sure my charcoal never burns out. It’s rare to find that kind of consistency and genuine care in service these days. The atmosphere’s great, the hookah’s solid, and the staff really make you feel like a regular. Easily a 5-star experience every visit.”

“Tried the tortas and they were a bit lacking in meat, the places in manassas fill them up more. Nonetheless, it does have good flavor and the spicy sauce is bussin. Got a tamal as well but fell it was reheated in the microwave, the corners crusted, but they are flavorful. Haven’t tried the tacos yet, so will come back for them.”

Carlos, the owner, took the time to sit down and chat with us. His passion for the food and his friendliness made the experience even more special. The server was awesome, offering fantastic recommendations that truly enhanced our meal. The food was exceptional, with each dish bursting with authentic Venezuelan flavors. “Omg! What a treasure this place is if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine. I picked up a whole Tiramisu imported from Milan (frozen) to share with my BOOKCLUB ladies after reading Tartufo. It was not cheep, but oh So worth it!! I’ll be back. The owners are very helpful and sincerely charming. I felt like I was in the old country :)”
