“During our Annual timeshare trek to Bayse VA we stumbled on Kathy’s Home Cooking in New Market and man oh man are we glad! Fabulous large portions of fish (Pollack) and tender Liver & Onions dinners served with a friendly smile by the new 80 year old owner herself, Katherine, who said she used to work for “Kathy” before Kathy sold Katherine the business. Just connect the dots, folks, and you’ll get who’s who eventually. Don’t leave Shen Valley if you are looking for a clean place with good ole fashioned home cooking’ and friendly Southern hospitality?“

“My wife and I cane here last night for dinner. Nice place, conveniently located, and the employees were nice. We tried their Peanut Soup, you.will to try it to find out if you love it or it may not be for you - the best way to put! Their fried chicken was cooked juicey and had amazing crispy; however, it needed flavor or some seasoning. The hamburger steak was dry and had no flavor, but their hush puppies were awesome! The fries were good! I tried the peanut butter meringue, the meringue was very sweet, but the peanut butter part was good!“

“Delicious pizza for a great price! Cannot dine in by take order was very good and made fresh. Lady making the pizzas was hustling to make sure all the orders were fulfilled quickly. I recommend calling in your order for pick up.
