Great beers, ciders and wines. Oh yeah, awesome people too!
Located in a suite of a renovated old manufacturing facility, nicely done! Rustic with all modern conveniences. Indoor and outdoor spaces (nice views), kid and pet friendly. Attentive and courteous staff and nice selection of beers. I enjoyed the American IPA (Hodge Podge) and my wife had the cream ale (Tall Boy). Very clean brewing space and customer areas. Will definitely be back as we travel through the area often. Look forward to trying the Roanoke facility as well.
Regular food service, rather than just food trucks, would certainly benefit.
The beverage selections are all excellent. Seating is adequate and there’s no deafening music (or tv blasting football).

A Few Old Goats Brewing is a gem in Buchanan, offering an awesome beer selection and vibe. Whether visiting the area frequently or for family, it's a must-drop-by spot. The brewery boasts a great selection of craft beers, all brewed onsite. Standout beers include Kyle the Bruce Belgian quad, Mitigated Clarity (IPA), and Waiting on Janie (kölsch). For those seeking something different, the Pineapple Mango sour is a perfect combination of tart and crisp.
The establishment is a nicely restored former factory with indoor and outdoor seating, the latter offering a great view of Purgatory Mountain. A food truck is often available, especially on weekends and holidays, and live performances by local musicians occur on occasions. Friendly and helpful staff contribute to the beautiful, relaxing atmosphere, and dogs are welcome, making it an awesome bonus for visitors. This brewery is exactly what Buchanan needed, providing a great stop off the beaten path.
