A quaint local diner/cafe with a friendly and efficient staff. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can eat inside or outside or get it To Go. Nothing fancy, but the food is good, you run into friends all the time, and the ice cream (from Homestead Creamery) and coffee (H&C) are the best.
We got a grilled chicken sandwich and a Big K burger with egg, bacon, and all the toppings available. The burger looked too pretty to eat, and every bite was delicious!
The fries and onion rings were good as well.

James River Drip is the kind of place that earns a return visit on atmosphere alone. The mountain views are absolutely pristine
...the sort of backdrop that makes you linger long after your plate is clean. The space itself has a phenomenal feel, relaxed and unpretentious, with the added bonus of being steps away from a charming old wooden swinging bridge that's worth a stroll before or after.
