It's just a quaint family restaurant mainly serving the local community. You can't find better food, service, and atmosphere anywhere. The prices are more than reasonable. You won't leave disappointed or hungry.
The place has the best Bacon Dbl Cheeseburger on I-81 hands down. All the food for every mealtime is delicious and the prices will make you wanna come back again and again. I’ve never had a bad experience at the North Star and been coming here for years. They have an ATM inside to use if you don’t have the cash on you. Yes that’s right, they only accept cash payments. Guess that’s why their prices are sooo good.
This is pure comfort food at extremely reasonable prices. The hamburgers are huge as are the dinner plates and everything was very good. Seems like the kind of place locals frequent and everybody knows everybody's names. Love that!
