“What a wonderful surprise on our travel day near Roanoke! The outside of the building is nothing notable, but the food is absolutely worth the drive to enjoy a fresh, tasty and filling breakfast. I ordered one egg, biscuit and grilled ham. The egg was cooked perfectly, the biscuit is by far one of the best I have ever had (even in the deep south), and the thick slices of ham were delicious and very plentiful. That biscuit was fresh, soft, tasty, and a good size. I had to get another on for a take out, and my husband did as well... though he added chicken to his biscuit. He ordered 2 pancakes for his breakfast, and they are thick, tasty, and the size of a dinner plate! He couldn't even finish them! I highly recommend this place, and Mary was a very attentive and friendly server/waitress/hostess. My husband said he will drive the 45 minutes there (each way) any morning just to have breakfast!“

“As advertised! Good times. Perfect hole in the wall. Great food. Good people. We found this during a camping trip looking at places to go that were open late. Good times did not disappoint. When our waitress sparked a smoke behind the counter we knew instantly it was about to be some awesome food and “a good time”. The lady immediately helped us and we still talk about that night to this day.“

We had Beth for a waitress and she was so friendly so if you plan on stopping there I would definitely ask for Beth, she is the bestest of the best!! 😃 She is also very knowledgeable about the area! We are from Maine and it was our first visit here! Wonderful hotel, wonderful restaurant and all wonderful staff!! I would give Beth and all the staff a AAA+ rating!! 😃 ❤️“
