“20250714 Stopped here around 9:40 tonight to get some fried chicken for my pup. We only eat dark meat, and fortunately, they have dark meat available when I arrived this late. Thankfully, when I ordered 3 or 4 piece dark meat, I always get all legs and thighs. Unlike, Popeye that considers wings as dark meat, and their 3-piece chicken includes 1 wing, 1 leg and 1 thigh, which is annoying. I started going to KFC these last 2 visits because of it. Although my pup prefers Bojangles, and it appears that my pup likes Popeyes better than KFC. She didn't eat all her KFC chicken tonight.“

The reason I gave this a four is because an employee was on his break and taking up an entire large table with the only cushion bench seats. We had to sit at a two top because he was taking up a large table alone and for the entire 45 min we were there. This was on a Saturday night at 6 pm. So a peak time and it was full, half way through we were able to put two two tops together when someone left. They need to teach their employees to allow paying customers to sit in their seats.“

Don't get thrown off by the spaghetti either. Filipino spaghetti is good with the balance of savory and sweet flavors. And who doesn't want a side of gravy to dip the chicken in or the biscuit, or to pour over the rice. Don't skip on the peach mango pie either. I wished there was one close to where I live.“

“This place is great everytime I go. Dining in is my favorite way to enjoy this place as they seem to fill the side cups a little more since there is no top. The chicken is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The sauces are delicious everytime. Very kid friendly with the colorful chairs, ample seating and clean high chairs. The people taking the orders are very kind and funny. Takeout is very good. Easy to just call your order in or order fresh when you arrive. In and out in 5-10 minutes depending on how busy they are. “We had a late dinner tonight (Saturday). I enjoyed my Cobb Salad so much that I forgot my purse in the restaurant when we left. As soon as we arrived home almost 20 miles away, I realized my purse was missing and it was already 9:30 PM which meant the restaurant would be closing in half an hour. My husband jumped in the car and headed back while I tried calling the restaurant. After about 4 attempts calling I finally got through and was informed my purse had been found and I could pick it up the same night. Upon entering, the wonderful and kind host saw the Popeyes shrimp I was holding and promptly gave me some of his own at no charge. The shrimp were delicious and textured. “Lately I have been on a Popeyes binge a few times a week. I love popeyes nuggets. I drove by and saw that KFC now has nuggets. So I orders 8 for $4.99. Then I saw the new Double Down chicken sandwich. It has no bread. So I ordered it. No sides. The lady in drive thru was nice. I asked what type of suace they had. She listed them. Then I said I wanted the Buffalo. After leaving and opening my bag I noticed she gave me Honey Mustard and KFC Suace. So that really let me down. As for the nuggets. On scale 1 to 10. I give them a 2. They were tiny. And soggy. Popeyes are an 11. They are big and crispy. Now onto the double down. I give it a 9 out if 10. It was very good. Very filling and didn't make me sleepy.“

I got Mac and cheese instead of the mashed potatoes it comes with. That was a 50¢ upcharge. But the meal was good and I'll be back as long as they have this deal. I ate in it seems their business is mostly drive thru since there never seems to be any one eating in.“

“I stopped here for an ubereats order and had to come back after delivering it. You could smell the chicken wafting into the parking lot when you walk up. I got the Pollo saltado if I remember correctly, with yuca and beans and rice. Absolutely bomb chicken with a whole lotta flavor. Its a good meal for your buck which I appreciate in this economy. I also got a Tamarind drink that lasted me the rest of the afternoon. I think I sipped it slowly because I was scared of finishing it, it was so good.
The atmosphere wasn't really my vibe, and that's okay. I didn't get the name of the guy that served me, bald guy, but he was funny and kindly communicative. There were also a few lads watching a soccer match in the lobby, but other than them there was nobody. If I have one regret after visiting here, it's that I didn't sit inside and watch that game while I ate.
Overall, coming from someone who's usually too scared to try new restaurants, I'm glad I tried this one. Will definetly be stopping here again to try the rest of the menu and see if I can't learn a thing or two about sports 👍“

“You can never go wrong with Pollo Rico. They were the first in the area (I've been eating at the Arlington location for 20 years) to have this chicken and share it. Now they've grown to multiple locations! Lucky us. The menu is simple (because it's all you need). Chicken and coleslaw/rice/fries. Their yellow sauce is perfect; I don't like spicy, so no green sauce but I know it's good! Your kids will love it too.“

It is best to come to the street at the corner where Fannie's restaurant is and pull around the back side of Fanny's restaurant. There is a large gravel parking lot behind Fanny's. It makes it a lot easier to get in and out with no stress or trouble.“
