“Delicious! I've only had takeout so I can't speak of the atmosphere and in-store service but damn is the food good. The spicy pork and sticky ribs are my go-to. Wings and drums are super crispy and flavorful. Will continue to work the menu.“

“Having grown up in the DMV, I have had many a Peruvian chicken dinner. El Pollo Rico does not disappoint! The chicken is hot, fresh and juicy with great spice flavoring. The fries are also fresh and tasty. I recommend the Inca Cola to pair with the meal. The restaurant has a rather large, clean, bright dining room and the atmosphere is family friendly. This is a great spot for a family dinner.Parking: There is a parking lot on site. It seemed to have a reasonable amount of parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: Families come here.“

“Trouble communicating with the staff behind the counter so another guest in line helped me. Tried the fried trout $17.99, 1/2 chicken plate $14.99, yucca fries, fried rice, corn and onion in tomato salad. Everything was good except the yucca fries pick something else.“

“Hangry Joe’s is great, especially with this location. Unlike the other hangry Joe’s in Fairfax, they serve boba tea, which is actually pretty good. Prices are reasonable and affordable for nearby students. Their food does take time, about 20-30 minutes, as they have with my order, but, overall, pretty good hot fried chicken. I think the only suggestion I have would be to make the spice more infused on the chicken, and not to hide the bread underneath. It seems like my fingers are red with the chili spice powder to spice the chicken, and I didn’t realize there was bread until I was halfway into the chicken.“

“Food was delicious. The HSR collab meal sets were large, but they are still tasty even as next day leftovers. My parents were raving about the chicken sauce. The manager(?) and the server both checked in on us throughout our meal and were very attentive and sweet. Thank you!“

“I visited this restaurant and was amazed by the menu selection. They have such a diverse selection of foods to choose from and also an extensive drink list. There are so many delicious cocktails to choose from. None of the foods and drinks we ordered disappointed us. The ambience of the restaurant is also super nice. They have a large outdoor seating area out front equipped with heaters so that you can enjoy outdoor dining even during the winter. The restaurant is big with a substantial bar seating area. The service was also amazing. The server was super nice and accommodating and politely answered all of our questions about the menu. Also big plus! They are having a promotion on whole chicken for $18.75 on all takeout orders. I will definitely be coming back here to try the other things on their menu!“

“I love the food here! They have new sandwiches and dishes rolling out semi-regularly. It's a great mix of Sichuan and a great chicken sandwich. If you are afraid of spice I think the Hot Boy spice level is not too spicy at all! Just be warned it is a play off of nashville hot chicken sandwiches so the sandwiches are wetter than your average chicken sandwich. The Taj ma hot and the Hot Boy deluxe-club sandwich are my go to orders, the Ube coffee is a nice creamy sweet treat as well. Service is overall good, the person working the front is nice and patient, you can order at the kiosk. Sometimes the food takes some time because they fry and prepare everything right after you order so it stays fresh, but it is worth the wait!Dietary restrictions: The chicken is HalalParking: This location is in the Ballston mall so their is a convenient parking garage attached to the building. There is also free street parking if you can find it.Kid-friendliness: Has non-spicy options for kids and fun drinks.“

“The chicken is so delicious and the portions are amazing for the price. The "sliders" are bigger than any other chicken sandwich places. They also use a dry rub to spice their food as opposed to just a sauce which is really interesting and delicious.Vegetarian options: They just added a cauliflower slider option. I haven't tried it yet but it looks delicious!Parking: It's on the corner of a strip of stores, so there is plenty of parking in the large parking lot. Getting into the lot can be difficult sometimes depending on which entrance you use.“

“This is the best restaurant ever!!!! Work had me in a hotel directly next-door to Cocorico’s and I ate there almost every day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all amazing. The staff is super friendly and pointed in the right direction of several great choices to order. If you have never ate here, I highly recommend you choose too! Nothing bad on the menu! Enjoy!!!“

“Delicous food and excellent service. The chicken pita and coleslaw side were delicous. The ingredients tasted very fresh, and the dishes were very nicely prepared. The perfectly crafted cappucino was delightful. The staff was very friendly and professional. There was plenty of seating and only a small wait even though there were many customers enjoying lunch.Update: Nando's Peri-Peri is still one of the best lunch options in the Ballston neighborhood. The chicken is cooked and spiced perfectly. The sides delicious and healthy. The tumeric cauliflower and the Brussels sprouts were delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The dining area is bright and spacious. The location is very convenient.“

“Went to this place originally when I was living in SA it was awesome. So nice to see they have this chain now in the United States. Food is very good, seasoning make it so flavorful and sides are very tasty as well. It’s nice they have the sauce bar in the dining area.“

“Food was worth the price. Seemed pricey at first but the amount and flavor made it well worth it. I liked the use of space for the seating. Enjoyed sitting on the "2nd floor". Had a quiet enough space there to have a good chat with a friend.“

“This is my daughter's favorite place to go. Their fried chicken is the "best" and she can eat it every week. It's crunchy and a decent amount of heat. And no joke, we go there a few times a month. We order online through their website via Toast and earn points for each transaction. We frequent enough that we've earned many points. We always take it to go because the place is quite small and has very limited seating. It's built to be more of a grab-and-go than a sit-and-dine. But the service is excellent and the food is nom.“

“Hangry Joe's is some good stuff! We're visiting the area and found this place on Uber Eats -- the name almost made me think it was a ghost kitchen, but it's real! I got the wings in Mild and Soy Garlic. Both were great but I was v impressed by their classic Mild with crunchy batter that retained its crisp even throughout the food delivery process with the perfect slightly spicy kick! The wings were juicy and flavorful, I really couldn't get enough and wish I ordered more. Chicken and waffles were delicious but beware of the spice level you choose; the "hot" level is true to their namesake, alright! The loaded Mac is truly loaded and they're quite generous with the chicken portion, and we also enjoyed the fried okra. Will personally be craving the crunchy wings for days and can't wait to be near a location again!“

“Came here during a hospital trip for my mom after driving 6-ish hours from NC and it was probably the highlight of those few days (that isn't saying much but it really was quite good). The chicken nuggets don't come in any less-spicy variation than Mild, which was still lip-tingling. The meat is so insanely juicy and tender you'd think it was slow-cooked. The fries come in Five Guys-like abundance, but are much higher quality, being very crispy and dark (I think they were listed as twice-fried so that might explain it). The OREO shake was highly respectable and helped pass the time waiting for the real food, but if I ever end up here again I'll get a proper drink as well. The place is located in a rather charming little shopping center, and open very late. I'm lucky to have found it so close to the hotel.Drawbacks - took 20ish minutes to get my food, and a shake-fries-nuggets combo was as many dollars. Don't come here like it's McDonald's.“
