“Hey, I don’t usually eat fried chicken whatsoever, but when I entered Dave’s Hot Chicken in Fairfax VA, I was immediately greeted by a young little middle eastern boy who I believe was named Ikram. I was really having a bad day, so this energy really made me excited to be there and eat. Ordering with the little gigglemug boy Ikram really made me a happy cabbage. It was just the pang-wangle I need to brighten my day. I ordered a number 3 with medium spice, and might I tell you it was delightful, dare I say near perfection. This is all thanks to my little kadoova Ikram, he really did it special, even going out of his way to advertise me a special drink called a flash in fruit punch slushy. For this hot day, it really hit the spot. This experience at Dave’s was just a 10/10. The food and service was just amazing. Ikram was simply the bee’s knees, the cherry on top for this experience.to have such another amazing experience at a take out restaurant, it would compare to herding cats! “Honestly, if you are a chicken salad lover, this is the place to go. The chicken salad is so good and it comes in so many different varieties from Sweet to spicy to savory to salty to pickle. It’s amazing! The older servers Didn’t really seem engaged or pay attention to me when I was coming up to the front to order but honestly it doesn’t take away from the atmosphere, which is very cozy and southern brunch kitchen style. Location is clean, bright and inviting. Staff is friendly, helpful and chill. I got the 18 pc today, never had it. It’s the saucy chicken. Flavors I got were: Mike’s Hot Honey, Spicy Buffalo and Spicy BBQ. The hot honey tasted abysmal, I didn’t like it whatsoever but since it’s part of my total order I covered it in sauce and ate it but I will never go for that again. Either change the recipe (suggestion) or remove it but everything else was tasty. I normally get other menu items but I generally recommend Dave’s“

“20251231 I spotted this restaurant when I was at State Farm several doors down. I walked in 15 mins after it was open, first customer there. The lady who took my order was not friendly. I felt like I was bothering her. After paying for my order, she informed me that it will be 17 mins wait. Being first time here, I'm not sure if that's normal, but I can't imagine every customer has to wait 17 mins for their order?? I really like the chicken. “I stopped by this Chick fil A while in uniform and was really impressed with the level of care and customer service. The manager on shift went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of and treated me with genuine kindness and respect. You can tell the team here takes pride in what they do. I stopped by today and got some chicken to eat and it has been a while and as always it was extremely delicious with the yellow sauce on the side.
