We were told we needed to put our entire order in at once as opposed to staggering it. The app arrived before we even got our drinks. Five minutes later, the entrees were out. We understand the need to turn over tables, but this was just way too rushed for our liking.“
“Excellent food and customer service! It's the first visit and definitely not the last. Their food it's fresh and with a lot of flavor! We came as a large group and we all tried different dishes. The mixed grill (delicious), combo rice bowl (amazing), hummus (creamy and authentic), chicken (soft and flavorful) and stuffed grape leaves (tasty). “I love the food here! They have new sandwiches and dishes rolling out semi-regularly. It's a great mix of Sichuan and a great chicken sandwich. If you are afraid of spice I think the Hot Boy spice level is not too spicy at all! Just be warned it is a play off of nashville hot chicken sandwiches so the sandwiches are wetter than your average chicken sandwich. The Taj ma hot and the Hot Boy deluxe-club sandwich are my go to orders, the Ube coffee is a nice creamy sweet treat as well. Service is overall good, the person working the front is nice and patient, you can order at the kiosk. “Listennnnnnn, I've had Astro Doughnuts before and they are amazing. But the one in VA is the only one that gives you a doughnut with espresso in it! “Interesting combo of artisan donuts and fried chicken. Very much appreciate that there is a selection of both yeast and cake donuts. My preference is for the cake variety, and they had a crispy outer texture. Overall slightly drier than what I expected, but still enjoyable. Also got some chicken fingers to go and it was very generously portioned and sized - essentially four breaded chicken breasts! Would not hesitate to go back to sample the yeast donuts with coffee, or some straight up fried chicken with fries next go round.“

“This was my wife's and I first time trying Hangry Joes! This is also a brand new location in Alexandria / Annandale area off of Little River Turnpike and we have to say first impressions WE LOVED THE INSIDE of the restaurant it new, it live, it's interesting and even put some of our favorite DC skyline in there too! This is a new building in the area and it was easy to get to and into the parking lot too! Getting your order in is easy as the have two digital kiosk's to place your order with an easy to navigate digital menu, they accept all forms of payment from Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, CC and debit cards. We were able to navigate the while menu and place our order in about 5-6 minutes since it was our first time we think that was great! Now the food first impressions IT SMELLS AMAZING! Like fresh fried chicken and the spices are WOW top it off with a lot of flavor. My wife and I got the 24 piece with in mild and lemon pepper, funnel fries, fries and fried okra! This was a great combination of flavors and WOW the mild has a lot of zing to it! Nice and spicy and IT CAN GET HOTTER they have a lot of levels of spice to offer from ghost pepper, habanero, hot and even down to just a bell pepper level hot. It is definitely a wide choice of flavors! The funnel fries are WOW just like funnel cake! Delicious and crispy for sure the season fries and fried okra is a great compliment to the chicken and they even give a little bit of sauces to go with the chicken DEFINITELY use the sauce to cover the chicken it is worth it! So if you're looking for something new in Alexandria / Annandale area this place is a MUST try! My wife and I will definitely be back soon :)“
“The food is good. It reminds me a lot of Popeye's rather than Chick-Fil-A. The chicken was pretty delicious and fairly portioned, and I really liked the mashed potatoes. However, I found the gravy to be overly salty. It's worth the drive, considering how hard it can be to find a Jollibee in Virginia (the other in Chantilly). The restaurant is a bit messy, however, as the tables were unclean, and there was a ton of left-out food near the trash. Additionally, bathroom sinks were broken. The workers are nice people, but they need more people to clean the tables.“

I was savoring every bite here. Orders are taken at the counter, so definitely be sure to plan in advance what you want to order, so you can go up to the line as soon as you are seated. For those looking to have a not-so big entree, I would recommend the chicken thigh skewers or the 1/4 leg. Also, the halloumi-sweet potato burger is good for vegetarians.Vegetarian options: Some appetizers, like spicy mixed olives, are vegetarian, and maybe even vegan. “This is my daughter's favorite place to go. Their fried chicken is the "best" and she can eat it every week. It's crunchy and a decent amount of heat. And no joke, we go there a few times a month. We order online through their website via Toast and earn points for each transaction. We frequent enough that we've earned many points. We always take it to go because the place is quite small and has very limited seating. It's built to be more of a grab-and-go than a sit-and-dine. But the service is excellent and the food is nom.“

“I've been eating at China King since 2011. It is not fancy at all but it is very tasty and very cheap (especially for lunch). Their lunch "number 1" Kung Pao chicken is my favorite. I drive 20 minutes to get my fix :) Their Singapore Rice noodles are fantastic (and did I mention cheap?)“

We ended up getting 2 pieces dark chicken and fries with mo’s sauce and their garlic sauce. The chicken was actually really juicy and the sauce were good the garlic sauce is very garlic with I love but if that’s not ur jam get then might want to stand clear.“
