Kind Brew Coffee & Tea House is a gorgeous, cozy, small shop in Roanoke. The atmosphere is warm, intimate and inviting, with a little fireplace, comfy couch and super cozy vibes. Everything is basically handmade; tea blends, jewelry, crochet, ceramics, soaps, body butters, plants in repurposed ceramics and other local crafts are sold by local vendors. The barista is incredibly sweet and helpful and offers a large variety of drinks. People can create a chai tea apple cider spritzer, a white chocolate butter toffee marshmallow latte, a white chocolate pea flower tea with rose popping pearls, a strawberry blueberry latte, a banana nut bread iced latte, a pink chai latte, dirty sodas such as tropical orange milk, a hot campfire marshmallow latte or a simple coffee that is smooth with no bitter taste. Breakfast sandwiches, a bacon egg and cheese bagel, a spinach and egg bagel, a sausage bagel and a banana bread latte are also offered at modest price. The owners are wonderful, genuine and kind, and they are fair and sweet about selling goods in the shop. A passport card lets people try drinks and a reward lets them pick a free cookbook with every purchase. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their products and they offer several options for how food can be prepared.
