Literally the best homestyle Korean food I've ever had hands down. You can tell how you'll enjoy the rest of the meal based on how well the banchan are prepared. Best banchan I've ever had, best kimchi I've ever had.... I can go on and on. I wish I could replicate the same taste at home. This place ruined all other homestyle Korean food restaurants for me.

I don't really understand the negative reviews. I was skeptical with the 4 stars...

Absolutely amazing food & people β€” we went as a larger group to Abbaee Soondae after a quick evening over at King Spa (not too far away). It was the best decision and the ultimate way to unwind after a weekend of climbing shenanigans in New River Gorge. The owner was known by the restaurant patrons, the restaurant goers were pretty much all Korean. That’s how you know πŸ‘€

If you’re unfamiliar with soondae, I recommend looking it up first so you know what to expect. It has a distinct style and texture that may not be for everyone. However, if you’re already a soondae fan, this place is amazing. The food has great flavor, the menu offers plenty of variety, and I would definitely recommend it.

For first-time visitors, there are also more familiar options, including pork cutlet, udon, and other traditional Korean...
