I would say Okaeri is a cute little cafe to hangout out and chill with friends! I ordered two different flavors of the bingsu here the strawberry and the hojicha I think. Personally I liked the strawberry but the flavor of the hojicha tasted off. But being fully honest both Bingsoo's were just alright. The jellies on the hojicah was also interesting I haven't really had anything like it before. Tthe bingsoo is also a pretty solid serving and good to share with 2-4 friends....
Had a minor issue where my order was missing an item, but the staff fixed it immediately and apologized sincerely. The situation was handled professionally, and the replacement arrived within minutes. Customer service like that makes a strong impression.
The Japanese soufflé cupcake was so soft, fluffy, and light — not overly sweet, which I really liked. It had that delicate melt-in-your-mouth texture that makes you want to keep eating “just one more bite.” You can tell it was made fresh because it tasted airy and moist at the same time. Perfect with coffee or tea.
