HOLY SMOKES…if I could leave ZERO stars, I would!! The food was terrible and the server was incredibly rude. It took about 5 minutes for someone to walk by the podium, then she brushed me off and said I could sit anywhere while walking away from me. It took about 20 minutes for someone to give me a menu, and I had to flag someone down to ask for one. Then she grabbed a menu off someone else’s table and gave to me 😂 Then it took about 10 minutes after reviewing the menu to be asked what I wanted to eat and drink. About 20 minutes after that, I had to ask for my water and she rolled her eyes and said she’ll be back with it. Then she forgot again and just brought it out with my food. I ordered the eggs Benedict which was very cold and disgusting. The fries were cold and the eggs were cold, and the muffins were cold. Then I had to flag her down after ANOTHER 20 minutes, to get my check and she rolled her eyes yet again. I wish Dulles had better food options but unfortunately, this is what we have. I watched at least three people sit down and get up and walk out because this place was so awful!

Ordered French Onion Soup. It literally had 2 slices of American Cheese thrown on top. Because of who I am, I ate it, but not after scraping the cheese off. The soup base wasn’t too bad at least. Unfortunately it was ruined by the abomination of cheese use.

I’m on a layover to my next flight, sadly I ended up on Terminal D, that is just bad, crowded and outdated, to continue with my bad impression I ended up at this “bistro” , the only good thing is no wait time, but besides that everything is bad, I ordered a simple breakfast bagel that consists in eggs, cheese and bacon, whee to start!!! The bagel was hard, the egg had a bunch of egg shells (just disgusting) and the bacon was overcooked. My advice, avoid this place, walk as much as you can and I find a better option, even if is fast food.

They put us on a small table, we ordered two big steaks with fries and asked to change our table with a bigger one because there was not enough space on the table for 3 plates. The waiter said everybody is sitting like that and refused to change our table with a bigger. There were people staying single at a 4 seats table, ordering a coffee or something.
The food came fast but the quality of the food was very poor. Really bad experience, avoid this place if you can.

I ordered the chicken Cobb salad. The chicken was dry and stiff. My wife ordered the nicoise salad. The tuna was mediocre. Not bad enough to send back, but not good.
Service was kind of ok. She didn't seem to be paying attention and got several drink orders wrong, including bringing a round of wine we didn't order.
In a pinch at an airport, it might make due, but it is not a French cafe by any stretch.

The whole D concourse is like some throwback, grungy, poorly maintained scene and this place fits in perfectly. Almost aggressively bad service, bad layout except for the bar and over priced mediocre everything. There were a bunch of open tables and the waitress yelled at me when I tried to sit in a small table at the front and tried to drag me to the back of the restaurant where tables are sloppily crammed together-- so I chose the bar. Similar disinterested service but at least the bartender was fast. The non funny thing is that this is the best option in the concourse for anything non fast food. Next time I fly out of the D terminal, I'll stop in B that is newly renovated and at least has a few decent dining options. AVOID this place if you can!

Sat and handed a menu. Tried order a glass of wine and sandwich off the menu. French restaurant was out of Croque Madame, French Dip, or the turkey sandwich. The final had British fish and chips available. Same with wine. Out of Sancerre and a couple others so I got a greyhound. The food was greasy and the drink overly sweet. Beware for the prices.

I was totally thrown off when I’m sitting down after having ordered and one of the staff members had the job of folding silverware into napkins. The silverware fell on the floor and the waitress picked up the utensils and proceeded to then place them on the table with the other clean utensils. She ended up combining the dirty utensils with the clean ones.
The health department needs to inspect this place immediately. There’s a huge layer or dust behind the bar register, the staff have no idea how to clean and they need some major retraining to ensure health safety standards. I will never return to this place. Do better.
