Being new to the area my family and I decided to explore a little bit. I so happen to come across this gem in the Charles City area. The minute we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome. Stopped in for a quick lunch on the way to Jamestown and very glad I did. Order the hamburger and it was delicious! Hand made thick patty with fresh ingredients and hot seasoned fries on the side. Finished the meal with a piece of coconut cake that reminded me of my grandmas. Definitely will return when in the area!
If you want to come here for food great.. if you actually want service this is not the place to come to.. on this day for lunch there was two waitresses working and the restaurant was full.. at the end of our meal we waited a half an hour for a box to take food home and a bread pudding dessert which evidently they changed the recipe and do not add ice cream with it anymore either.. there was a couple who waited for 10 minutes, they weren't sat.. they actually set themselves,...
