Ace Biscuit & Barbecue

Food was excellent and staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this place. I tried the Cuban sandwich and Mac n cheese. My husband got the Pair of Aces with the pork, brisket, baked beans, and a biscuit. Everything was delicious, but we both agree that the Mac was our favorite item. Thank you to the guy that served us for suggesting it!

I ordered the two meat platter (pulled pork and brisket) for lunch. The pulled pork and brisket were both excellent. One of the better briskets I’ve had in Virginia. I got the mac and cheese as a side and it was delicious as well. The service was fantastic. Everyone was
friendly and accommodating, I will definitely be back next time I am in Charlottesville.

A little bit on the pricey side for the area given that it’s not table service. Still pretty good though.

Stopped here for breakfast and was very pleased with our experience. The staff was extremely friendly and spent some time playing with our dog and talking to us.

The food was awesome. The chicken was great, the biscuits are just perfect and the pastrami was fall apart tender.

We’re sad we don’t live nearby to stop here more frequently.

I hate to say it because I was expecting more but it was gross. I had the old dirty; There was absolutely zero flavor. The chicken was dry, the breading was overwhelmingly thick and falling off, and all I could taste was pepper. Absolutely zero seasoning. The fries weren't cooked all the way and were barely seasoned, I couldn't eat them and gave them to my husband. He ordered the Cuban. He said it was ordinary, nothing to right home about. He ordered extra meat and if that was extra, there must be no meat on the sandwich because it was skinny. Overall it was extremely expensive being as we paid 40$ for a chicken thigh and the smallest pork sandwich of anyone's life. I would not recommend stopping for food.

There is so much loud bs coming out of the kitchen that it too 30 minutes for the food to come out. Too long for a spot like this. The old version of ACE was not this way.

Ace has a cool atmosphere, and great barbecue sandwiches and Mac’n cheese. Definitely recommend.

Amazing food at an even better price. My daughter says try the Mac and cheese! Ace biscuit was awesome!

Good food

Stopped in randomly on a trip to Charlottesville and couldn’t be happier about it! Food is phenomenal! (I had a breakfast burrito with brisket. Yum!) Atmosphere is relaxed and easy. Highly recommend!

Stopped for lunch with family and everything we tried was delicious. The biscuits were great. Pastrami has a nice spicy seasoning to it.

The food was good but it’s all about perspective and one’s pallet.

Service was great, friendly people and any type of accommodation you may need (sauces, silverware, napkins, etc.)

The atmosphere was great as well and pretty close to perfect. Good music, tables had good spacing as well as CLEAN
