The food was excellent as always and the special dessert they had, Matcha Cheesecake, was extraordinary. I had my doubts at first because matcha can be bitter but it was creamy and delicious. Highly recommend!
If you haven't been to Bad Luck Ramen Bar in a while, you might want to give it another try. The quality of the ramen has improved dramatically, as has the quality of the sake that is produced here, especially the Junmai Daiginjo. The staff has always been terrific — helpful, friendly and professional — and they are as gracious and welcoming as ever. The appetizers and side dishes (sushi rolls, gyoza, etc.) are fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy...
John gave us great service. The katsu curry was amazing! One of the best I've had. The curry had just the right amount of warmth, and the pork was tender and juicy with a perfect crispy coating. We enjoyed the sake flight, too!!
