Bang! was a fun spot with a group. It’s tapas style. You order off a little paper sheet and tick off what you want. You can make things gluten free etc. by circling near the item if they’re able to do it, which might make things useful for folks with dietary restrictions. The food was good and came out staggered as it was ready from the kitchen. I wasn’t blown away by the food for the prices - and maybe that was how much others had hyped it up before I went.
We had an amazing dinner here on our first night in Charlottesville! Olivia was so sweet and super helpful with ordering along with the knowledgeable and friendly bartender. Wine, bubbly and mocktails, Tuna poke, goat cheese dumplings, bang bang shrimp …yummmmmmmm!!!

10/10 for the beet salad, goat cheese dumpling, and orange chicken.
7/10 for the sweet potato gnocchi (not soft enough) and kale tortellini (I can imagine this being so much better in sage butter).
11/10 for the pork belly bao -- apparently one of the best things they've tried!
