Hidden gem! Friendly service, great portions, flavor and price. Hard to find this value at this price point anywhere else in town. I’m a fan of the big noodle dishes like Pad See Ew and Drunken Noodles.

First, the food was absolutely delicious. While I’ve never had a meal at a Thai restaurant I didn’t like, this one was novel in flavors and menu selections (not even including the Mexican food)! I don’t know exactly what “authentic” tastes like, but I’m pretty sure this is it, or at least the closest you’ll find in Charlottesville and the nearby regions.

Second, VERY vegetarian friendly but be sure to ask because many sauces have shrimp! We had a mock-duck curry with Seitan and it was incredible— I have never seen seitan at a restaurant, let alone served so well. The only caveat is that many dishes that are normally vegetarian have shrimp in the sauce. But here’s the thing— the lovely woman who took our order actually told us and was so helpful and accommodating.

Eat here.

I've been coming here for about a year and insist it's the best lunch in Charlottesville. I have no idea what magic they work on the kao pad kapow but it is better than any rice dish I've had elsewhere. Service is always exceptional. Thanks for being part of the community!

Found this place while exploring near the hotel. Wish I would have found it earlier because this is the most flavorful food I have found in C'ville!

Ordered Drunken Noodles (chicken) ($14.25) to-go and asked that it be prepared hot, Thai hot and it delivered. While it was hot, you can taste the flavor of the other spices. I will get it regular hot next time to compare. The noodles were hot in the to-go box and satisfied the urge.

Something which annoyed me is the prompt to add a tip for to-go food, and which calculates the wrong value. Their vendor should be smacked for this.

Would eat there again for sure. I like the Food court ambiance and the options. There isn't any signage for the store/stall on the side of the building where I entered so walk to the other end and you will find it.

PS: To the owners, there is a typ-o in your Google Maps title as Mexican is spelled Maxican!

Parking: There appear to be two parking lots, one on each side of the building entrances which complimentary parking.

Some of the BEST thai food in cville. (We go back and forth between Bangkok and thai cuisine). The food here is delicious, seasoned well, not overbearing spice-wise, always fresh, and just never misses!

I tend to get red or green curry and my husband gets curry or a noodle dish - we're both very picky with thai food, and this place holds up every time. We generally do takeout since the market vibe isn't really our thing - but it is a cute little seating area if you want a quick, yummy, well-priced meal on the go!

Parking: Easy parking right outside!

One of the best Thai places I’ve tried. I ordered the red curry (with tofu) and the tacos (shrimp) and the red curry was easily some of the best I’ve had! I was sick and the spice level helped clear up my sinuses, as well as the flavor helped my mood. I liked it so much I made the same order a few days later and the quality was just as good. Recommend!(note* I got takeout both times due to being sick so I cannot comment on the full dining experience inside!)

TL;DR: Well-sized, affordable take-out lunch/dinner option. Food is tasty and well-prepared with perfect balance of vegetables to meat to rice/noodle. Front desk / food preparer lady is very friendly. Building/eating space is aesthetic. Specific Foods: Green curry: 4.5/10 Ginger salad: 9/10 Drunken noodle: 7.5/10 Kao Pad Ka Pow: 7/10 Chicken and Broccoli: 6/19 Special Attention: Restaurant is a coffee-stand type of deal. All food is pick-up but there is free seating right next to the stand. Parking lot can get a bit congested. General Wait Time for 1/2 dishes: 15-20 minutes General Comments: I am a big Thai foodie so that’s why all the dishes I have tried have been Thai. But, I am excited to try some of their Mexican dishes. Restaurant is a relatively affordable, lunch/dinner option in a nice aesthetic building. Food overall is a 7.0/10 with some dishes being much better. Even with the peanut problem (mentioned below), I am giving this restaurant 5 stars just because of how friendly the front desk lady is. Room For Improvement: With a peanut allergy, I am very aware of peanuts in food. One of my dishes was contaminated with peanuts and another dish came with crushed peanuts on top (non-accidental) but the menu did not mention peanuts. The curry of the green curry lacks depth and richness Wish they were open on the weekends during lunch

We had an excellent meal here. They work from a small space within the main street building. Tables to eat at are shared by several restaurants within a common area. The food was fresh and fabulous with the perfect level of spice. Everyone working here was so pleasant. We are big fans of many of the Charlottesville area Thai restaurants and this is going to be one of our favorites based on today's experience. Easy parking and this is a win!

Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options

Parking: Lots of available parking and it is an easy walk from the downtown mall.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of menu choices!

The food looks like the pictures. The mango sticky rice is the best I ever had. And the Kapow was amazing too. IDs post pictures but I ate it before thinking about it!
