I recently had the BEST SALAD of my life at Bizou (the roasted beet, mango + goat cheese salad!) It was a gorgeous Wednesday afternoon in summer, sitting in the lovely shade of a patio umbrella, a chilled glass of Virginia-made Rose wine…. A quintessential Charlottesville experience. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend!

Great food. Inside seating is tight. Very retro atmosphere. We had reservations. Public parking was a block away so no biggie there. Lot accepts parkmobile, no charge after 5pm.

I’ll keep it mainly about the food. Salad was really good. Avocado toast and birria biscuit were tasty.

The service was genuinely a hard watch. Noticeably more “care” for some of the other tables. Not too happy about that. The cocktail also took awhile to come out.
