Definition of a good local bagel shop. Busy, but they move the line.

Pretty overhyped if you ask me. Good food and pretty cheap, but nothing crazy.

Amazing bagels, speedy service that you will need even on a Saturday morning.I enjoyed a whole wheat bagel with white eggs, ham, and cheese, but you cannot go wrong with any choice.Coffee is also good.

Going there on a Sunday morning is an experience. The line will be long but it moves fast. I got a capicola everything bagel with kalamata olives, feta cheese, and jalapeño lime schmear and it was fantastic, you can taste the freshness of the bagels and the customization means there is always something for everyone. I just wish they had sweet tea along with their unsweetened counterpart.Vegetarian options: Since you can just get a bagel with cream cheese there are plenty of vegetarian options and the ability to mix and match. With some meat selection you don't need it to make a delicious breakfast sandwich.

The bagel was quite good. The sandwich was a bit small, but it was very tasty. Good

Bodo's is always great, and the customer service is always top notch. Plus they are awesome about making my custom half OJ half carbonated water orange soda for me.

Vegetarian options: only thing with meat are bagel sandwiches with meat on top, which is a fraction of the menu. Not personally vegetarian but i always eat vegetarian here by accidentParking: Like the rest of Charlottesville, very little street parking, some paid lot parking, little to no free parkingKid-friendliness: 100% kid friendly, noisy atmosphere so your kids will blend right inWheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible but cramped

I'm from NJ and can be particular about bagels. This is one of the best bagels I've had outside of the NY/NJ area! They're actually cooked like bagels - not regular bread molded into bagel shape. That seems like a low standard, but it's not met most of the time! These are cooked to perfection.I agree with another reviewer who said they'd prefer the cream cheese to be a little less runny, though.Service is very fast. I was here for the lunch rush (and have been to the other location on Emmet St.) and their system is impressive. You shouldn't have to wait too long. The prices are also pretty reasonable.

Price increases twice in past year . Food has went downhill. Last time I got a hard piece of sausage. This time a burned bagel. For increased prices and increased wages I would expect at minimal the same food quality.

Great food for a reasonable price, also amazing location right by campus. My only complaint would be the long line I had to wait in, but that's not their fault; if anything, it's a testament to how popular and good this place is.

This location is in the heart of UVA. Best bagels in town, seriously you can’t find better bagels. The only issue with the place is parking can be difficult to find for nonresidents. There is a paid lot behind the building that usually has spots available but be sure to pay as they do tow frequently. I pay no matter what at that lot. That tow truck has no remorse.Don’t be intimidated by long lines as Bodo’s knows how to make that line move, just like a New York Bagel joint. I’m a huge fan of the egg and bacon sandwich on an everything bagel and my kids just love the bagel with cream cheese.Parking: This location does not have its own parking but the lot behind the building usually has spots. Be sure to pay for parking as they tow frequently.
