The most incredible view, delicious cider, wine, donuts, and more. This is the orchard location for Bold Rock Cidery, apple picking available seasonally. There is a gift shop along with lunch food items, ice cream, baked goods and more. They are family friendly, no dogs allowed per agricultural standards.
I love going here, still do. The foods good, the atmosphere makes me feel at peace, and the people are always so friendly there.

The cider selection is fantastic, with something for every try, and everything feels crisp, fresh, and local. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the laid-back but well-run experience. Whether you’re stopping by after apple picking or making it the main event, Bold Rock at Carter’s Mountain is a must-visit spot in Charlottesville.
