Hey, what a nice place! Sometimes you leave a meal wondering why you go out to eat... but here it was clear. You get something made better than you can make it (not that I cook so exceptionally well, especially fish, but anyway...), with fresh ingredients and no vacuous, salty bespokery. The service was natural, complete and warm -- really contributed, somehow -- and the food was delicious. Everyone's various dishes, excellent and cheering. Cocktails were honest and fine. Can definitely recommend.

From the attentive service and beautiful presentation to the superb preparation and outstanding flavors, everything was exceptional. This was my third time dining at this restaurant, and it has never disappointed. The menu items are unique and thoughtfully crafted, making each visit feel special. Highly recommend!

Made a reservation here for an anniversary dinner and had multiple reminders to confirm the reservation. When we came on the night of the reservation, we found a closed restaurant with a note on the door that they are closed all weekend due to weak air conditioning. It’s something you should let customers know in advance, so they can plan accordingly.

Squid ink risotto was extremely salty. Rockfish skin was fishy. Menu wasn't the same as posted online the same day.

The menu changes regularly. My wife and I ordered the she-crab soup for our appetizer, and for entrees I got the trout and my wife got the rockfish. Everything was absolutely delicious. Food was brought out promptly. Our server Lauren was incredibly kind and efficient. Overall one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Charlottesville.

We were lucky enough to walk-in without a reservation for dinner on Valentine’s Day. Jerry greeted us and he was so sweet and would check in on how the drinks were (the tiramisu martini was amazing!). Our server was Zaina and she was so attentive and answered all our questions! We ended up splitting a seafood platter, a separate entree (spice crusted tuna and pan roasted rockfish), and shared the goat cheesecake for dessert. It was all very delicious and a great amount for 2 people! Also wanted to shout out the food runner working- Kate! She gave us some extra goodies to sample and was very knowledgeable about the food :)
