It was good! More like counter service than a full service restaurant.

Unbelievably delicious food. Great relaxed atmosphere. Great people.
got the “chicken” caesar wrap bc it was the only option that seemed to have a protein and it was entirely greens, minimal dressing, maybe 3 pieces of the chicken. not worth $12. probably 250 calories max. caveat emptor.

This eatery has so many good options-mostly whole plant-based! It's also a super cozy spot and has a patio. I loved the miso mac & cheese, the sticky cauliflower, the crispy chix sandwich, and the cauliflower soup.

The food was so great! Highly recommend the Crunchy Cauliflower bowl or Sweet Potato Bowl - so good. The lemonade was also delicious and it was great place for a quick, yummy lunch!
As someone who isn’t full-time vegan or vegetarian even, I often find myself craving this place. Highly recommended!

The food here is absolutely delicious and everyone who works at Botanical is so nice! They create such a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We got the Tuna Salad Sandwich (chickpea), the Crispy Chix (mushroom), and the French Onion Soup with Cheesy Garlic Bread. All of which was phenomenal and tasted so fresh. It felt like each item had a lot of thought and care put into making it!I wish the French Onion Soup wasn’t just a winter menu item because I’m in love with it and am most definitely going to be craving it all the time! Also, I love that they use MarieBette sourdough for the sandwich because that just took it to another level. I’d be so happy if there was vegan food like this where I live.I did a photoshoot here a little while back and told the owner I would come back to eat soon. Unfortunately, I didn’t have another shoot in Charlottesville for a hot minute so wasn’t able to do so until this week when my partner and I ate here for Valentine’s Day. I’m so happy we did but now I’m mad at myself for not eating here sooner-it’s definitely in my top 10 favourite restaurants! I’m in Charlottesville again today for work so I’m planning on stopping by to grab some food and I’m beyond excited ? I highly recommend eating here if you haven’t yet!

I am a huge fan of plant based living and have gone here many times. The menu is inventive and tasty. The interior dining is pretty although the "bar" areas are terribly uncomfortable and in my opinion should be deleted. The staff are sadly often rushed and or missing in action.
