This place is as advertised. It is a Bar with a good grill menu. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food was great and I would definitely come back again. It does seems like a good local spot with regular customers. It is dated, which adds to the charm of the place. If you like bar & grill food, you'll like this spot.

We had 5 in party

Myself and a friend were in town on Sunday, January 05,2025,. We are from the state of Arkansas.
We were told about this bar and grill near our motel. We decided to check it out.
We walked in and were greeted and told to sit wherever we wanted.
Waitress came over and took our orders. A short time later we were served our burgers and fries.
The food was awesome and the atmosphere was to.
Really really enjoyed these folk and the service.
Highly recommend them.🙋‍♂️

Must visit when i come to Cville for a big game. I remember eating here as a kid when it was Big Jim’s bbq. The bbq hash and wing dings deserve a michelin star.

Great local bar. The food was great & the price as well. We didn't need a huge meal, as we had been traveling all day. It was the perfect size and very reasonable. The locals were in and out getting pickup orders and eating in.

This place has fantastic burgers! The wing dings are great also! And definitely try their potatoes wedges! The staff was super friendly and attentive!

Stopped in looking for a low key bar and it's exactly what I found. This is the type of bar I wish we still had in America. Cheap beer and good food at a great price. Got the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes, gravy, green beans, and rolls for only $10! That's unheard of this day in age where a side of fries can cost you more than $5. Had a few beers with my meal as well and it all came out to $22. I will definitely stop in next time I visit Charlottesville.

Great Bar and Grill. The real thing. Lots of locals, great food, service. This is what “Cheers” wanted to be. We found it through reviews and was close to hotel. We came back the next day for lunch. Great burger and beer. This is NOT a new place. Been here forever and looks like it I love it.

Cheers bar. Good food and beer. Especially good burger Super people. Hard to find these days. Highly recommend.
