My wife and I dined at Aberdeen barn. We ordered one Maryland crab cake, one filet mignon, and two greek salads. The filet mignon and salads were good but the crab cake tasted really off. I don't know what it was like if it was missing an ingredient or what. We have eaten here several times before and ordered the crab cake before and it was delicious, but this time was really bad. I contacted Aberdeen barn and they did nothing to try to fix it. Really dissapeointng all around.
We had the best experience at Aberdeen Barn. The Oysters, Filet Minion and NY Strip steak was cooked to perfection! I have never had a steak that was cooked perfectly to what I ordered. The waiter Mike was outstanding. He was attentive to us and he anticipated our needs before we knew what we may have wanted. The entire staff was attentive to our needs so we had no wants. I would highly recommend this 5 Star restaurant for the wonderful staff and delicious food!
I'm only "not recommending" the Aberdeen Barn because of their Gift Certificate policy. We were given gift certificates over the Holidays to a place we have never been. It was a perfect time to try it only to find that you can not use your gift certificates on a Saturday which left us paying out of pocket that evening. Most would say "Did you read the fine print"?
