I love cakebloom! Aside from having the best cakes, the staff are so welcoming, Verna was exceptionally warm. I am an indecisive person and she helped me choose a drink. The ambiance is also amazing. Definitely going to be my go-to.

Had the Persian Love cake the other day and it might’ve been the best cake I have ever had not made by my grandma or mom

I was torn between and 3 and a 4 star. We went for afternoon tea today which was sadly disappointing. The tea sandwiches, while tasting wonderful, were on extremely dry bread. The scone was over baked, dry, and hard. The cookies were delightful. I was excited to try the Magic Blue tea served with lemon simple syrup. It was not syrup, it was just lemon juice. Had to ask for sugar after 20 minutes. The saving grace was the sample cakes we purchased. The tiramisu, carrot, and vanilla slices were amazing. I'm sorry, $25 per person for an afternoon tea experience here is not worth it. Stick to the cakes, you won't be disappointed in them.

A sweet little shop on w main street. The cake is delicious and hard to top. The whole cake pictured was a hit for the holidays, and you can't go wrong with the slice options. Be sure to take advantage of the seasonal flavors that rotate monthly. This is also a fun experience for the littles who can come in and have a slice and milk flight. The bubble pairings for the adults have always blended well with the cake flavors. Fun stuff happens, so check the calendars for special tea opportunities and other events.

We loved working with cake bloom! We wanted a small, two-tier cake for us to cut during our wedding reception. We chose another dessert option to serve to our guests vs. serving cake. We purchased their five-slice sampler (each one was delicious!) to make the decision of our cake flavors. We are not local, so they were flexible and waited until we were in town about a month before the wedding to pick up the samples and make our decision. The cake was exactly what we were wanting and the floral additions were beautiful. We definitely recommend Cake Bloom if you’re looking for a small cake for your wedding or event.

We recently got married and Cake Bloom made 3 cakes for our wedding. They were great to work with and the cakes were delicious. Our friends & family raved about the cake! I also loved that I was able to get a sampler box to try all the flavors and that they worked with me to create a custom flavor. Highly recommend!

My husband and I ordered a large floral funfetti Blue Ridge Fog cake from Cake Bloom for our post-elopement dinner. It was super tasty and visually beautiful. Highly recommend them! Also - their shop is adorable :)

Been coming here since they opened a few years ago. Always kind service and the cakes and food are amazing. Came here recently again with my boyfriend for a wine and thanksgiving tasting and it was fun and my boyfriend actually enjoyed it just as much a did. Also came here last year for a oyster and champagne tasting event and it was so fun! Definitely recommend! Their full cakes are a little pricey for the size but are so tasty and good quality.

The 8 piece sampler was a hit for a small birthday dessert! Every single flavor was spectacular.

Great local spot in downtown cville ? Both cozy & crisp aesthetic. The blue lemon tea (shown in video) was very cool. French press coffee was better than expected! Cake was delicious but slices were smaller than anticipated, $6.25 per slice. They offer other food options and several drink options. We met one of the owners, Elizabeth, and she was very friendly and attentive to our group

Where has this place been all my life?! My sis and I came in to check out the cake flight and it was amazing! We ordered the 8-slice cake flight which has one slice of each offering on the menu. We had a hard time picking out a favorite but our top picks were the Lemon, Chocolate, and the Almond w/ fig and salted buttercream icing. I can’t wait to see what the next seasonal flavor will be. Great experience!
