Great cocktails and inviting atmosphere! Great for live jazz music on Monday nights.

The lobby bar and bartender were wonderful!!! We arrived late needing a bite to eat. She kindly made us a charcuterie board right at closing time. It wasn’t thrown together, it was handsome and delicious. Everything about this place was wonderful!!

Opentable Diner

SERVICE: The people were nice but it felt like they were surprised we were there and didn't prepare anything. Took us a little bit to find the place. They are first seated us in a hallway next to a room that was being cleaned. I had some trouble with reaching at that angle because I'm pregnant so we moved to a regular table. FOOD: Scones tasted ok, cream puff centers were frozen, the finger sandwiches had weird combos: pimento cheese with salmon which was weird but acceptable, a very sweet jam and duck which was excessively sweet and strange, and an ATROCITY of basically Costco seaweed salad on toast??? Don't know what happened with that last one. TEA: There were like 2 serious teas English Breakfast and Earl Gray which was not labeled and the person serving didn't know what it was either. Everything else was something with fruit in it. Which I don't mind that there's some herbal floral fruity teas but I was expecting an EXTENSIVE serious collection of tea at place for afternoon TEA. Also when the tea came, all they did was pour hot water with the leaves in a pot and immediately brought it to the table with zero instructions on how much longer to steep it for, which again the person serving didn't know when we asked. Gave us answers like oh probably 5 minutes or something, clearly did not know anything about the individual suggested steep times for each of the 3 pots of tea we had. No sugar, creamer/milk, or lemon was offered. PRICE: It was about $140+ for 3 people, we shared a small tower of food and we each got the choice of 1 pot of tea. 20% gratuity was mandatory, no resteeping of tea allowed and new pots cost $8. For comparison, Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar pots of tea cost about $8 as well, but the shared food of one large plate of Mediterranean style appetizers is around $28 which offers about the same amount of food as we got from Oakhurst and personally I think the quality was way worse at Oakhurst. Overall a laughably terrible experience.

Really enjoyable tea! Room for improvement on the sandwiches (one set had clearly been made a bit far in advance and were getting dry and curled at the corners, and mostly just tasted of butter). It would also be lovely if either tea was fully steeped when it comes to the table, so you don't have to time it OR if they had a simple system for un-steeping the tea so it doesn't get bitter. (Pulling out a handle-less hot metal tea diffuser barehanded can be a bit tricky.) But overall the food was very tasty, the atmosphere was pleasantly calm, and the service was good. The tea is a very enjoyable special occasion overall.

While a bit pricey, afternoon tea at the Oakhurst Inn was delightful for a special occasion. I didn't like the jasmine tea (too grassy and no flavor) so I asked for a different pot of tea which cost an additional $8.00! The ambiance was lovely, all decorated for Christmas and a lovely fire.

Afternoon tea at the Oakhurst Inn was delightful! The lady at the bar took care of us, offering a choice of teas. The food was quite tasty, especially the avocado toast. The inn was quiet so we were able to have conversation at a pleasant level. I would go again!

Such a great location and excellent tea service. Tea is always a gamble, no matter where you go, but this was classic-meets-southern food and fun tea selection as well. I'm so glad we went!!

Abigail, our server, was a perfect private tea hostess! She was attentive but not intrusive. She was knowledgeable about each of the varieties of teas as well as the food. The presentation of tea sandwiches & desserts was on a round tiered silver tower. Thank you, Oakhurst Inn for a perfect 12th birthday celebration for my granddaughter!

This tea service is not worth $75 for two people. Food was ok...but not fresh. Feels too bar like for afternoon tea. Service was great .

The service was excellent and the ambience was very calm and sophisticated. You get a lot of different treats and can try any of the teas, so there's a bit of something for everyone. Would highly recommend!
