“Hands down best fried chicken in Charlottesville. Great seasoning and crust, perfectly cooked. And they make the REAL kind of cole slaw, the only cole slaw I have yet to try anywhere around here that isn't just bland mayonnaisey tasting. Theirs has real zing to it. It reminds me of slightly of horseradish, but isn't spicy or hot. Maybe celery seed? Whatever the secret ingredient, to us it's the only cole slaw in town worth buying. And good desserts like the lemon pound cake, and really good banana pudding (which saying something from someone who never liked banana pudding).“
