Stopped by Cumbre Bakery per my friends' (Baltimore) suggestion. Definitely will be my repeat stop when I'm in Charlottesville, VA! This place makes a proper espresso and delicious Argentinean empanadas! The beef, sweet corn+ cheese, and cheese+onion = what I tried and all delicious! Thank you! (Forgot to take a photo of the espresso and the beef empanada. Next time!)

After passing Cumbre Bakery several times and observing their cool outdoor seating, my wife and I stopped in to see what they were all about. We didn’t realize it was 20 minutes before closing. The staff were very friendly and personable despite our late arrival. While we didn’t get a chance to try their baked goods while we were in town, their coffee was delicious. Highly recommend!

The empanadas are amazing, especially the spinach artichoke. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient even during the rush. I always appreciate them letting my bring my dog in as well!
