Came as part of a group of four and everyone left with their stomachs full. The ribs were incredible, as well as my sides. The rest of my group said they had the best fried chicken in years. The dinners come in good sizes and are great soul food. I will definitely be coming back!
I stumbled upon this new restaurant while waiting for my takeout from another restaurant. There are ice cream desserts advertised outside the restaurant and on the windows.Inside I saw that it is so much more than an ice cream shop. Since I already had my dinner I picked up some ice cream sandwiches to go. I suspect the real treat is the delicious smelling, down home cooking, soul food. We were in town for a wedding, and was looking for someplace to have lunch. We stumbled upon a jewel. If your grandmother's in heaven and you long for old-school cooking like hers, visit this restaurant. DeJua is more than just a name. The food here is delicious and the smoothies are a dream. We will revisit soon. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
