The last and best dive bar left in town. Be prepared and don't expect cocktails or classy wine. The subs are massive and high quality. Come for the subs, stay for the stone fireplace and friendships! Nelly's is the epitome of a local bar. Keep in mind that the shorter PM menu starts at 5, but still has plenty of options. Fantastic happy hour, as well!
Over the past three years the Dürty Nelly's reuben served with a pickle spear and house made crackers has become my comfort food. I have found it uncomplicated to make friends here. I'm grateful for a low stakes place to practice darts and see talented local musicians!
The second I was near an older man who made me even slightly uncomfortable there were 2 staff members surrounding me asking me if I ok and asking me if there was anyone overstepping I wanted removed. I’ve never felt so safe and cared for before. I love the bar in general, but will 1000000% recommend it to all my friends after this.
