This is my favorite coffee place around. Great drinks, people, and a good spot to chill with friends. Gwen and Diego are my favorite baristas. They also make a delicious open-faced sausage egg and cheddar sandwich. It’s on their secret menu. Just ask Gwen!
Absolutely phenomenal experience at First Free Coffee Bar in Charlottesville! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is warm, inviting, and beautifully done - the kind of place where you immediately want to settle in and stay awhile.
The staff truly makes the experience even better. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, providing exceptional service without ever feeling rushed.

The coffee here is great but the service is awful. From dirty looks from the ladies making the coffee to the judgmental gentleman taking your order. It made the experience awful. I wish the coffee was bad but it was delicious.
