About Gabriele Rausse Winery
Gabriele Rausse Winery Reviews
My husband and I enjoyed our visit yesterday and were very pleased with all of the wines that we tasted. The fresh baguette and goat cheese were yummy. We had a very knowledgeable server that answered all of our wine nerd wannabe questions 😂 We especially enjoyed chatting with Gabriele he is a very sweet man and the history and stories he shared were an extra special treat.
Beautiful natural setting, warm inviting staff. Unpretentious setting with Vinyl playing on a turntable. Wine best in Virginia!
Beautiful rustic atmosphere. Baguettes are to die for

Gabriele Rausse Winery is a charming vineyard offering exceptional wine and a welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy delicious bread with olive oil, which is so good that many buy a bottle to take home. The tasting area is small, quaint, and absolutely beautiful, with plenty of seating options in gazebos, open air, and some standing spots inside. The knowledgeable owner provides insights into local wine history and the vineyard's unique processes, making the experience even more special. Surrounded by woods, this hidden gem offers an intimate experience for wine lovers, with friendly staff and exquisite wine. Many have enjoyed the wine here more than at other wineries in the area, appreciating the excellent selections and the staff's attentiveness. The winery produces some unique wines you probably won’t find anywhere else in Virginia, including delicious whites and roses. On Thursdays, visitors can taste the sparkling wines, which are the stars of the tasting. The atmosphere is enhanced by vinyl-only music, creating a nostalgic and enjoyable setting. The Tannat is particularly noted for pairing perfectly with home-cooked paella. This winery is a must-stop on any trip through Virginia wine country, especially for those who appreciate good wine, great atmosphere, and a touch of music history.
