We only visited for the wine tasting. We did not do a tour. The tasting counter lady, Linda, was super friendly and helpful. Great adult stop after visiting Monticello. The wine is tasty.
This was an ok winery, but is in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately this winery is also still doing flights so no traditional tasting, which means I wasn't able to find out many details about the winery in general. Also they have a lot to choose from but the flights are preselected in groups of 4 so not a lot of flexibility. So we did 2 flights with 4 red and 4 white. We had a delightful visit here not just because of the wines, but because of Cynthia and Luke. I had called before we arrived in Virginia and spoke to Cynthia who was informative and friendly. When we came for our tasting, we were lucky enough to get Luke. He is clearly enthusiastic about the wine and knowledgable as well.
